Pantherland, Verbod , 21 Gun Salute @ Impuls

Here are some pictures from the show in the Impuls last night. Three local hardcore/punk bands played there yesterday.


21 Gun Salute

The first band was 21 Gun Salute, a new band in the scene. They play metalcore in the vein of Hatebreed. This was there 2nd show, and I was impressed. Some small mistaked here and there, but overall a very good show.

The second band, Verbod (dutch for 'prohibition'). Anti-fashion, anti-authority, anti-deodorant apparently. Old school squatter punks against the world. I've seen 'm a few times now, and while I first had the idea they were progressing, I now have a feeling they won't get much better. The guitar riffs are okay, the drums are the same in every song and no audible snare drum, vocals are uninteresting.
Really guys, it's not against punk rules to play at different speeds.
